Our mother-server - L2 Ghostlands is a server that runs all year round 24/7/365. We like to think of it as a long term project, as we don't have any financial burdens that would make the server fade, or shut down and rebrand within weeks. We have full-time careers, businesses etc. and the server is running independently in the background of our daily lives. And will run for as long as there's some community of passionate players.
It is always the perfect time to join L2 Ghostlands as the server has its own relaxed pace, history and warm microclimate all year round with our main community.
        L2 GhostSeason is a seasonal side server. Unlike other projects with donations and other money orientated b*sht, as a non-commercial project we don't run them to milk money. We run these parallel cycles of seasons to gather waves of new population, passionate players that like that fresh start feeling and rush of competitiveness.
        At the end of each cycle, which is up to 12 weeks long (depending on microclimate), characters level 40+, with 2nd class occupation can apply to be poured/merged into our Mother-server (see More details for more info), making it forever alive and blossom. Meaning - season players also never lose their progress, carry on with their game without wipes or losing their achievements.
        Seasons are similar in core, but slightly different configs, that we like to test/play out. Separate seasons give newcomers a chance of catching up, accessing raids, epics and other important instances. After a certain period a player reaches pretty much anything that game offers and the rest is just skillful wars, sieges, pvp for the fun of it!
What's beautiful about these seasonal cycles is that a player can chose to skip a season and stay relaxed in Motherland environment for as long as he wishes (or take a break from L2) and get his adrenaline rush in any following season start, always knowing his hard earned achievements will be in one place at the end.
